Two commission sketches I thought I'd share. Soon to be inked and watercolored.

Haven't been here in a while, sorry guys! I can't really keep up with journals, can I?
Anyway, I've been posting artwork, just all on DeviantArt, so please hop on over there if you aren't already a watcher of mine. As for sketches you won't see on DA, here's a WIP of one of my commissions!

I made these a while ago and finally remembered that I needed to post them. :P
Fanart of my favorite pilots from Gundam Wing! Meaning.. all of them! Plus an exclusive lj-only sketch of my concept art for Duo (because I struggle with him the most). I really needed a fanart fix so this served to satisfy my itch.

I finished the two pics from the one individual who commissioned me. I think they came out really well and I'm pleased with them. Usually I hate some portion of a picture but I don't have much to self-critique about these. I like them!
I think I need to raise my prices again too (after this batch of commissions of course). Everyone keeps saying they're too cheap on DA which I kinda agree with but I JUST raised them. Wouldn't that make me a colossal jerk to raise them a second time? Well whatevs, I'll raise them when I offer watercolor commissions next month. :P

Finished the second sketch for the double commission I got. Along with Anakin/Padme, the commissioner also asked for an Aragorn and Arwen sketch with them on the bridge in Rivendell.

My friend Dana came up to visit me the other week and she brought me an awesome gift of a huge Alfons Mucha book complete with intensely saturated colors. It was like eye candy times ten, injected directly into my corneas.
After looking through it, I placed it lovingly on my shelf with all my other Mucha books and then I drew this!:

I keep forgetting to update this thing! I think it's because I assume everyone checks my deviantart page so why re-post it here? I have to remember that a lot of my friends don't check my DA page and like to catch my art on here instead. I mean, that's the whole reason I moved ALL art from my regular LJ to here, right? Anyway, I've accumulated quite an update. For the sake of keeping things in some sort of order I'm going to start with one post on the last-minute work I submitted to the art school I ended up not getting accepted to. Ass-hats. They didn't seem to like it, but I hope you do!

My brother asked me to draw a picture for a "friend" of his so he could give it to her as a present for Christmas. Even though I am sick-ass busy with applications, personal statements, work, personal artwork, xmas shopping, family togetherness etc etc, I said yes. Cuz he's my brother and I didn't want to let him down. Especially if this picture is for someone special and I could tell it was.

I've had a pretty bad case of the "Don't Wanna"s this past month. Every time I told myself I had to work on artwork, I'd get really lazy and just not do it. It's not like I didn't have ideas for artwork. In fact, there is a list of all the things I need and want to draw. Does that make it artist's block? I dunno, all I know is I had NO MOTIVATION. Today I finally got some stuff done including a Happy B-day sketch for the lovely alexds1 with her and her OC Luca.




Luca's just showing his love in the only way he knows how! With cake in yo face. I bet he's really got a present hidden behind his back! :D Right?.. yeah. Let's hope... Happy Birthday, Der!! You've been such an inspiration to me on the internets and I hope you had a really nice birthday despite your troubles. I'm really looking forward to tabling at APE with you! Let's just hope I can GET ANYTHING DONE >_>;;
